Volunteer Support

Selflessly serve the dying and their families as A Friend of the Family Hospice volunteer. Giving one's time, love, and support to another is one of the greatest joys of being human, especially during the most significant transition of a loved one's life. If you feel a higher calling to serve others, consider becoming A Friend of the Family hospice volunteer. Our volunteers are professionally trained and certified in end-of-life care. I was hired by Family Home Health Services in January 2006 as a part-time employee. Six months later I was offered full-time employment and was proud to except. I’ve been in the nursing field for 16 years, and this is truly the first company I’ve been fortunate to work for, that goes “above and beyond” to ensure quality of care. Equally as important, this company has created a platform for all levels of their employees to ensure that the quality of care is a team performance which embodies what a “family” should be.
